About Me
My name is Philip Choi and I was born and raised in NYC. After graduating from college and doing some life things, I left the states to work in Japan for two years and experienced life outside the bustling city I'm used to in a very hot and humid climate in Tochigi prefecture. After struggling with bike rides up and down very steep hills around my large town, obtaining Shodan in Kyudo (wish I had time to get to Sandan), freaking out from tremors, and generally experiencing life in Japan, I returned to America and sought a career as a programmer - something I had always wanted to do since I was younger.
Growing up in the early stages of developing technology, it was natural for me to have an interest. I didn't have the luxury of getting my hands on what I wanted so through friends and school is where most of my exposure took place. I have always been curious about how things work and enjoy disassembling them to figure it out, be it hardware or the mind.
Professional Experience
I enjoy learning and being great at what I do. I strive to learn more about development and its best practices to build scalable solutions and clean code. My skills are currently more focused on Salesforce development. I have been working to help many companies/clients impove their business processes with new functionality and upgrade old, outdated components.
